The forum will be organized by the Geological Survey Agency and the State Agency for the Use of Mineral Resources under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources on October 26-27, 2023. The main goal of the forum is to showcase Azerbaijan’s current and potential opportunities in the fields of mining and geology on the international stage, exchange experiences in these areas, establish communication and create and develop partnership potential. Specialists and geologists in the field of mining from many countries around the world will speak at this forum, which will provide an opportunity to exchange experiences on modern trends, new technologies and the use of international methodology in their application. In addition, the forum will play an important role in adapting Azerbaijan’s mining industry to new approaches in the world. Moreover, the forum will address topics such as investment trends and reporting in the mining industry, new methodologies, and conceptual modelling in geological exploration, as well as the environmental impact of the mining industry.
Representatives of more than 30 countries will be participating in the forum.
